Horst: Photographer of Style, 2014

Visual identity and exhibition graphics for Horst: Photographer of Style, a major retrospective at the Victoria and Albert Museum, featuring the work of one of the most renowned fashion photographers from the 20th century.

To evoke Horst's distinctive theatrical lighting, the titles of the exhibition were created with 3D parts (the thin parts of the letters) and lit from the side. The type was set in Euclid Flex, a contemporary font designed by Swiss Typefaces, that resembles some features from Art Deco style.
